On March 14, an exhibition “City and Business” was opened in Alytus city municipality.
It was one of the results of the Interreg V-A project “Improving Competitiveness in the PL-LT Border through the Development of Clustering Services” implemented by Alytus VKC was one of the results of work with students of the Design Department of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University. Students also shared their ideas for increasing the attractiveness of the city. Politicians and entrepreneurs should take serious notes about suggestions by the students of VGTU. Thank you to Professor Dr. Jonas Jakaitis and his students for collaboration.
On March 14, a meeting was also held to present the results of the project and the prospective works “FOR ALYTUS & IN ALYTUS”, in cooperation with the representatives of the Institute of Architecture and Design of the VGTU. During the meeting, the VGTU experts and students’ suggestions were discussed, the possibilities of cooperation were discussed, the overview of the project results and challenges in 2018 were presented. Discussed about the attractiveness of Alytus Business and Trade Territories and the challenges, opportunities for increasing the attractiveness of Alytus City and business in following years 2018 – 2022. and the inclusion of VGTU students in the targeted development of creative-technical potential in Alytus city.
